Upon moving out from Amherst, I sang duet with my roommate Pat (Papatino!). Our young friend and student Ryogo Katahira kindly read the piano part for us.
Hindemith Viola Sonata with Benjamin Hanselman
In my May 2026 visit to Amherst, I played with my past stand-partner/principal/dear friend Bibi. Two weeks of intense practice is slightly short for a new movement like this, but that can be the best way to start a new piece.

A viola & voice duet written for ASO upon leaving Amherst. A quick recording was made with Charlotte herself as soprano and her teacher Mrs. Charlotte Collins on viola.
